Update: Thanks to our members for their enthusiastic support & involvement in reaching our initial goal of today's date--to get 500 signatures on the petition for national recognition of Pharmacy Buyer Day (within the already established Health System Pharmacy Week).
We're very happy to announce that as of this print, the petition has 554 signatures! Congratulations on this milestone achievement. But as we've said before, this is just one small step. We still want to reach our ultimate goal of 750-1000 names, so we encourage you to get your peers, as well as your friends and neighbors to help us in our cause. All it costs is two minutes of their time!
The October edition of PPO, to be distributed early next week, is chock full of updates and information in regards to where we go from here, how to expand our recognition in getting your local governments to proclaim your day for next year, etc., along with an article from NPPA Advisory Board Member Kathy Pflaum, inspired by Pharmacy Buyer Day.
