I heard a lot of chatter while at this year's conference (GREAT job to you all, by the way!!!) wondering what steps can be taken by Pharmacy Purchasers to position themselves so that the hard work they do is recognized by their leadership, particularly for those who have positions that are both Technician and Buyer rolled into one. I know Richard Ponder did a great presentation one year about PURCHASING (not necessarily Pharmacy Technician) Certifications and other licensing opportunities. Can we have that presentation again?
Some educational presentations on how to approach and/or communicate with your leadership would be good, too. To be honest, we may need some educational sessions on how to PUT OURSELVES FORWARD, instead of sitting back quietly.
