Anyone have any information on supply (or lack thereof) of oral cipro? Have not received any info from list serves, but unable to find product anywhere. Another product I'm unable to find is pentoxifylline 400mg.
Cipro is on the ASHP drug shortages site. Apotex and Ranbaxy both have FDA issues and all the other mfgs state "supply and demand" or, the ubiquitous "no reason for the shortage".
Just this week I read something about the pentoxifyllin (can't for the life of me remember where), but with similar reasons as the cipro.
Fortunately, we don't use a lot of either one here, so we are skating by for now!
