The current recall of Hospira propofol and resulting
allocation of APP propofol and unavailability of Teva propofol at the wholesaler level has my director
looking to me to perform some kind of miracle that I am not sure that I can.
Does anybody out there have a strategy or plan that they are willing to share?
I am generally not one to hit the panic button, but
I was totally not ready for this.

I just found out at 5pm Yesterday.
So today I called APP and placed Direct orders but there allocations on 100ml dose not even meet a days supply here. 20ml is also just a drop in the bucket.
We are on B/O. for Teva's which we have never used here. I also was getting into it with my Boss. Until she found out that Yesterday is when APP and the Wholesalers fount out. Our alternative was going to be Pentothal but apparently most of this is on B.O. with Hospira also. Living on a wing and a prayer for now.
