We are preparing for barcoding in Feb 2010.
I have started the process of making sure that all the inventory is scanned with a barcode in Meditech.
When receiving the order I have noticed that the unit dose packaging has a small window to access the barcode of the drug. So I am able to scan the drug with out take it out of the packaging.
I would like to see the injectable product packaged in the same way.
Having to open injectable narcotics that could have the appearance of being trampered with is not what the buyers should have to deal with.
Just want to see what other buyers thougt about this issue.
