Do you have the CII safe in the pharmacy? We have had anesthesia units in our or for about 8 yrs now. They work fine. It is very difficult to make the change. The anesthesiologistsusually are not fond of the change. It took years and two new groups to get to common ground. The return bin is emptied daily. We check the contents and pull them out then go to the empty return bin function on the screen to verify the contents. Anything that can still be used is brought back to the pharmacy and returned to the safe from that unit.
