I am looking for examples of Technician Career Ladders. I am also curious as to where the Buyer falls in the progression. Are you ranked as above the Lead Technician, below the Lead Tech, equal to the lead tech or different categorization than the Techs?

I am in a completely different chain of command than our technicians. We have technicians who report to a Technician Supervisor, who reports to the Pharmacy Manager, who reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

As a buyer, I report directly to the Director of Pharmacy and am considered a higher level position than the technician supervisor; although we don't interact "officially" in any capacity since our chain of command is different.
