add-ease revisited

We are switching from Hospira to BBraun, including add-vantages. If anyone can shed some light on how you prepare add-ease for Pyxis, etc., I'd appreciate it. It has been so easy for nurses to retrieve the vial and add-vantage bag from the machine and put them together immediately before administering the drug.
So...3 or 4 questions:
How large is your facility?
How many techs are scheduled for an average day shift?
Do you put the bags & vials together before filling in Pyxis?
Are the nurses amenable to combining vial and bag on the unit?

We are licensed for 320 beds, but the average census is closer to 200-220. We have 4 technicians scheduled for day shift: one does order entry, answers the phone, the door and so on, 2 others are dedicated to refilling Pyxis machines (we are total Pyxis) and one gal is in the IVRM. With this kind of staffing, is it feasible for add-ease to work???
Thanks,
Ruth
