How are other buyer handling the Rabies Vaccine.
Currently Sanofi has Imogam Vaccine.
Because Rabavert is not available Sanofi is allocating the Imogam.
As I understand it there is a form that need to be filled out with patient informationa and faxed to Sanofi. The drug is send out with in 24 hours.
I am not sure that this is the best way to provide patient care.
Please share your ideas on how to handle this issue.

I've requested Imovax and Imogam 3 times from Sanofi with no problems.

The patient information asked for general--how many patients needing vaccine, etc. No patient names or other personal information is required. They do ask for weight of anyone getting Imogam.

Sanofi will fax the forms (the one thing necessary is a physician signature, but I just went to the ER and had no problem), then fax it back.

we filled form out originally and put x's where physician had to sign, and request what was needed.
this was given to e.r. pharmacists when needed,they can also call 1800 vaccine if needed after hours or on weekends.
