We are a large hospital and our pyxis techs use baskets on wheels to push their loads up to the med stations. What we are currently using isn't big enough and we have been looking and looking for something better with no luck.
I'm curious what other pharmacy's use and where you purchased them from.
Try Health Care Logistics. They have many different carts and baskets in different shapes and sizes. We too use the basket carts for Pyxis delivery and are looking at something bigger. They have a tote cart that will hold several containers at once.

We are a large hospital also and we went to 3 tier rubbermaid carts with lockable doors on the 2 bottom levels which is required by our state board for transporting control drugs to the floors. We use the top shelp to transport IV solutions. It works rather well. We are looking into a powered cart because of the large amounts of IV fluids that we take up.
