How come anyone could submit their information regarding their pay, however; only those that have a subscription will be able to view the results? Will this be posted on the website?

We were very happy with the response received, as we ended up with even more respondents than our original goal for a minimum amount in order to make it an effective report. It was a joy to see Buyers wanting to be part of something bigger than themselves.
We do offer extra benefits to Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook subscribers. Current or new Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook subscribers will see the results of the 2007 Buyer Wage & Task Survey in the next 2-3 editions of the newsletter, beginning with the upcoming March edition. We also offer lower rates to our subscribers, to attend our Annual Conferences, for example.
If you prefer not to become a new Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook subscriber, but want the Survey results, the cost is $39.95. If you were one of the Survey respondents, we are giving a $10 discount provided that you give us with the email that you gave when taking the survey so we can to confirm that to be the case.
Of course, we would love to add you as a Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook subscriber, which you can do online here by going to our webpage titled: “Subscription Form,” which you can order online using a Purchase Order, or print off our pdf form to fax or mail in with your order.
Also, since the findings are being released over a 3 month period, you have the option of receiving each month’s installment at the end of each month in question (March, April, & May), or waiting until the end, in May, to receive the results all in one report. Either way, the report will be sent as a pdf file, via email.
Then, in May, we will continue to offer it free to our subscribers who request it, for a 3 month time period. After that time, the report’s cost to current or new subscribers will be $19.95, with the same $10 discount in effect if they have taken the survey and that can be confirmed.
We expect to have a Survey order form available online shortly, as well.
We sincerely hope you can understand our desire to offer extra benefits to our subscribers. This would basically negate the purpose of subscribership. This is a standard and quite common business practice; members of associations can take a lower, member-only rate on items for sale or registration fees to conventions. Also, there are many examples of a person needing to "buy into" a survey before they are privy to the results. If you've ever taken a telephone survey, or been stopped at the mall to take a survey, chances are you'll never find the results of those surveys, let alone find out where they can be found. Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook not only offers where the results can be found, but invites you to enjoy the benefits of over fifty years of Pharmacy Buying experience and fourteen years of disseminating valuable information to the Pharmacy Buying public by becoming a subscriber. Relying solely on the information on the website is denying your Department the wealth of information found in each issue of the newsletter and denying yourself professionally of the edge you need to keep one step ahead of the pitfalls of Pharmacy Purchasing.
We appreciate your understanding. Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook is dedicated to providing support to the Pharmacy Buyers of the country. But if a value is not attached to some of it, all of it becomes worthless.
