The Share-A-Room Program was created so that NPPA Conference attendees can match themselves with other attendees of the same gender, to share the expenses of a single hotel room.
This is a strictly peer-to-peer exchange; NPPA will not be involved in any way other than providing the place here for this exchange, and promoting its availability.
To participate, reply to a post, with your name, gender (not always obvious from name alone), and of course the dates you would like to share your hotel room. This can be done by attendees who already have a room booked on their own, or by attendees without a current hotel room reservation. Then interested fellow attendees would respond to your post or your email if you also provide that in your post as well, for a direct response.
Only Restriction: Scholarship Program winners, who have been awarded a Scholarship for their hotel room, may not share their room with another attendee (except for those who agreed to share a room with another Scholarship Awardee, who were matched up by NPPA for their Awards). When Scholarship funding comes in from our vendor-sponsors, we have to be sure that the funds are only being used for scholarship applicants, and that we are following the guidelines the contributors agreed to. Exceptions cannot be made when distributing funding from a third party, so we hope you all understand this exception and abide by it.
Although our hotel rates are one of the lowest in Vegas, the Share-A-Room Program is just another method to help attendees save money on another expense for the Conference.
