Notice the last sentence in this story of war against Syria?

neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.

Here David had been a friend to the king of Ammon but when he died, his son listened to false council and hired a great army to come against Israel because he did not believe that King David would continue his friendship with him. So the envoy of good wishes that David sent had their beards shaved and their garments cut so short as to expose their private parts. They were shamed.

In retaliation for this act, David did send his army against Ammon.

The end of the battle is that the hired army of Syria was left standing against Israel's army alone while the men of Ammon ran for cover behind their walls. The Syrians were killed and therefore they decided they wouldn't help the children of Ammon anymore. Ammon is Jordan who occupies the land south of Syria.

Put that into modern day events.

1. Who are the rulers in Israel? Are they true Hebrews or are they Edomites - related to Ammon?

2. What connection do these modern day Edomites have to the Middle East fighting in Syria today? Are they provoking Syria by the constant shelling done by their hired fighters? have they driven the innocent out of their homes to live in the wilderness?

3. Trump is warning Iran to stop it's threats and the hired killers that are tearing Syria apart?

The forces that went to war in the Middle East are determined to get rid of Assad, the rightful ruler of Syria.

Isaiah 14 tells us that the day will come when Damascus is a ruinous heap. That is quite a prophecy considering that Damascus is the oldest, on-going city in history.

We really do not know the real players behind the scene unless we dig into the facts, do we? That is why we post today's news because it is Biblical History and future Prophecy.
