Yesterday I had to get out of the house and went to the 2nd Hand Store. I spotted there for the umpteenth time a large pocketbook, an Oxford English Dictionary, 1100 pages. It had been on the cashier's desk there for weeks but no one bought it, and when I again spotted it, thrown in with the rest of the thousands of books they had heaped up in boxes. Yesterday was 50% off, so bought it for 1 euro. Little did I know it was the best investment ever made. I'll tell you why.

Every morning when I go to prayer, one of the first things I do is to ask Him for a Word of Knowledge. When I go about to listen for it, I hear either a word or a phrase. Monday, it was "spirited" - I didn't know that was a word. I looked it up in the Oxford's, and it was there. This morning, now Tuesday, I again asked Him for a W/K, and I was given "Amazon", and wondered if that was in this dictionary and it, too, was there. It is an mythical ancient name meaning a Tall Woman of Strength. So I immediately thought these two W/K, 'spirited', and Amazon, had to apply to us as spiritual beings, and that in the spirit we are both women of strength, and tall. That's real power, is it not?

Next, still in a spirit of prayer, I came across in my prayer book a couple of scriptures that inspired me I had previously written, Hebrews 12:29 "Our God is a consuming fire". We have been told this also in Exodus when He appeared to Moses as a consuming fire, a fire that is a threat to His enemies. But further, again in Hebrews, 1:3 tells us He upholds all things by the Word of His Power. Our Yah changes not and is still a consuming fire. This will be seen when our Savior returns and splits the rock as His feet land on Mt. Sion. Hebrews 12:15 says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Before such a powerful God, we have to put our flesh on the altar and deny self like He did, as pleasing self brings problems, whereas in the spirit we have authority over devils, and we have authority over sickness, both spiritual and physical.

Then I turned to some pages I had printed up regarding healing, and there's 3 verses about bones. We both have problems over our bones. When we put our flesh on the altar, then we are in the Spirit, then we will find healing. And this is how we do it, since by walking in the spirit
we thereby have removed ourselves from depression, feeling sorry for ourselves, being affected by the evil of others around us. Here are those scriptures about our bones which need healing that I had saved. All of them require a spiritual mind-set:

A sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones. Proverbs 14:30.
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken." Proverbs 15:13. See next verse what a broken spirit does:
A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. Proverbs 17:32.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24.

The little article continues: "God wants to develop and put right thinking into our minds. Having a good positive mindset in the Lord may be one of the secrets in being able to have good physical health while we are living down here on this earth. Our immune system may not be working as well as it should when we have certain types of sicknesses or diseases as compared to someone who is always upbeat, happy, cheerful, and doing something positive with their lives" (which I add would be to be an encouragement to others).

I hope this will bring you as huge blessing as it did for me. Spending some time meditating over these truths should produce some big changes not only for ourselves but others around us if we just put that old flesh on the altar and endeavor to change our mind into a positive one.
