During our insulin pen and innolet pilot, we encountered difficulty in scanning the insulin on multiple occasions. We currently use the Hand Held Products 4600 scanner attached to a COW on our nursing untis. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If you currently use insulin pens and/or innolets, what scanners do you use and do you utilize mobile carts on your nursing units? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
