We quit using the amps a few years ago because they were constantly being filled incorrectly in the Pyxis machines (vials in the amps spot and vice versa), so now it's just the vials and the premade bags and it hasn't seemed to cause any problems.

No generics in that strength... but they'll still have the 100mg/10ml available.

The only way it was going to impact us was if double strength was ordered for a patient. Baxter makes a double strength premixed bag as well as regular strength in a bag. It's much safer to use the premade bags.

It is a good thing that the amps where removed. Especially since there is a premade available. Now just watch for the shortage to start with the pre-made since that is the only way to get that concentration. Mark my words.
