Heads up about—
Alteplase, Activase 100mg (58 million IU). NDC 50242-085-27 manufactured by
Genentech, Inc.

I noticed that the box had the expiration date of March 2007. This date corresponds to the diluent in the box. The drug itself expires on Aug 2009. It is my belief that we may have discarded the “expired” medication in the past because we thought the med itself was out of date.

I have also found that with TNK,the expiration on the box is the same as the sterile water not the drug in
