We use very little here, we carry both kinds but only akeep on hand a few of each. i dont think it even shows up on my Top 25 report.

We use a ton of Thrombin here at our hospital - with all strengths and forms combined it is usually at or near the top of our 80/20. When I've spoke to different pharms around the country they are surprised to hear that. I do think it has become a habit in our OR and not always needed. It is one of our cost containment projects. I am just wonder - do any of your hospitals use a lot of Thrombin?
