Not every vendor has the same ethics as we do. To be in this field, you must have company and individual ethics. To "penalize" all is not the right answer. I think the best way to handle this situation is to have attendees at the PPO vote in person during registration. The "award" can be handed out a couple of days later after all votes are in. Even if the voting is done on a website, computer set up at registration desk, or by ballot, it would be done in a fair and just way.
