We're just working on the initial groundwork. It'll probably not be a NATIONAL Pharmacy Buyers Day; we're trying to go on a grass-roots level for now. When I did publicity for Pharmacy Week at my hospital, I petitioned my local government to issue a proclamation. It's just a part of our tax dollars at work; most governments have a department just for this kind of thing.
I figure if every subscriber gets a proclamation from their local government, we can petition the Federal Government to make it an official 'Day' down the line.
Like I said, specifics are still in the works, but I've asked Dale to put something in the September PPO, because it takes about a month to get something like this from a local government. If you have any thoughts on some wording of the Proclamation, I'm sure we can work on it. I'm probably going to submit a draft of sorts to Dale in the next week or so, so they can look it over and have it ready for September.
