You know, the funny thing is it's only recently that majority of Ethiopians were even aware of ethnic importance thanks to Meles and Co. It used to be a shame to ask someone about their background, especially during HS time..I think most Ethiopians know and are not stupid be it Oromos and Somalis and others that after Meles is gone (if ethiopia survives) this tribal thing won't be a big deal at all, except as usual for the extreme minorities who are racists and will always be around.

Let me correct you once and for all about the longevity of the rule of Amhara kings over the southern part of Ethiopia.It was not more than 80 years combined by Menelik and Haile Selassie.Do not talk about 200 years which is an outright lie.
About not opening universities and hospitals in non-Amhara areas is also another outrageous lie.In Haile Selassie's time there were two universities.One was in Addis Ababa with affiliated colleges at Alemaya College and Gondar.The other university was in Asmara.That is it.There were colleges at Jimma and Ambo.Figure it out where these places are and you will get answers to your questions.
About hospitals I can't say much because I do not know the whole of Ethiopia.What I can say though is hospitals were built in the large towns only due to financial constraints.I have no doubt the southern provinces had more hospitals more than the north.Unlike your unfounded assertios that was how things operated.

Other thank some people having a lot of time on their hands it is ironic that you don't see the reason why these names were gathered.
"Habesha" in general are obsessed with the ethnicity of people. I find such a list isolating & dividing.
BTW, some of these people are/were well educated. Their titles actually do not suffice their educational background. Perhaps if it wasn't for their ethnical background they would have gotten a higher post.

To the readers and writers of this page as we all know that Ethiopia is a country of so many ethnic groups which does not matter any more, but when we write about some ones ethnicity we have to make sure it is fact and right.And make sure to give the mixture of everyones ethnicity because as we all know we do have lots of people with that identity.As a mater of fact when you write about my father and my ankle you forgot that their father is amhara and their mother is gurage but you put them as gurages in this case how many of them you put as confused as others like they have to forgot half their ethnicity, please next time if you dont know dont do it.by the way they are KIFLE ERGETU and TESHOME ERGETU.And as you and me know that his imperial majesty Haile Selassie I was from Amhara father and Gurage mother so just to make sure you know
