Hi there,

With the positive techniques (sponging or ragging on) getting those corners is a bear. What I have found is it it is better just to get a small artist's brush and to dab it and even run it down into the corner. If you were doing your technique using full strength paint, dilute the paint with water or glaze, load up your brush with a small amount of the paint mixture and lightly dab in into the corner, filling in a good portion of it. It would be better to go down the corner...filling in some......go back up..fill in more..until you get the look you desire.

It is almost impossible to take your wee bit of sponge and dabbing down the corner or into the corner without getting that look of a line of sponging indicating exactly what you did?

Good luck

Debbie

(FYI- How professionals end up NOT having that problem....most of them use negative techniques where the glaze in applied first, then removed with some "tool"..rag, sponge, etc. Thus the corner is filled will color. These techniques are a bit harder requiring good product and either a helper or knowledge on how to work glaze.)
