Today Fallon has been in the hospital for 2 weeks. Her white blood count was below one today and so she received her first blood transfusion. As John Sullivan told us yesterday the direct number to make an appointment to donate blood for Fallon is 212.420.2824. Fallon is AB positive but O blood type can donate as well. The location is at Beth Israel South at East 17th Street between 1st and 2nd Ave. The Blood Donor Center is located on the Third Floor. Appointments can be made between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm M-F. When Making an appointment please be sure to give Fallon's full name and her birth date of March 3, 2002. If you have any problems doing so, please call Tiffany O'Toole on her cell phone at 914.262.2224. There is no charge for red blood donation. We will let you know when platelet donation is necessary. Platelets only last for 5 days, so when we know we will need them we will provide the donor information. Thank you for your continued support. |
