Let us not be dismayed by the transition. Many, if not all of us, are experiencing a lot of shaking up during this time. I want us to take a moment of reflection in the form of a parable:
If a person has a tightrope to walk from platform to another, when he is on the rope is the time when he is most afraid.
The platforms represent our good times, when our lives are calm and secure. The or ground below represents times at its worse. True enough, if we were to fall and hit the ground, it would hurt, but it could not get anyworse so there would still be a chance for us to have peace and be no longer be afraid When you're reach the worst there is no more place for fear because that which was feared has arrived. And of course when everything is secure all is well. That only leaves the time of the tightrope. This is the time when all of our fears are at the greatest, when the mind game is most intense, and also the time when most retreat, give up, or panic. Be encouraged brethren. Understand that the battle is not yours, it's the Lord's. Be strong and without fear, for even if you did fall you could just get back up dust yourself off and do it again. Even though, there is something even greater, you won't fall. See the secret is, Jesus is the other platform. As long as your eyes remain there and only there, and as long as your mind remains there and only there, and you continue to cast out everything that is trying to move your focus from there, you will arrive there with complete victory and glory. Just as Peter walked on the water by keeping His eyes on Jesus, the same is to us. He couldn't sink on the boat, and neither in Jesus's arms, it was during his transition from point a to point b that he became afraid, so as Paul stated, lets just continue to press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him and overcome the transition.
