Fellow Brethren:

It's been far too long since the last email but there has arrived something that is very disturbing in the spirit. It is a thing called doubt. Most of us would quickly say, "I believe in God, I believe in the Bible, etc." And so often saying that is lying through the teeth. Deep down we don't believe that the Red Sea split anymore than we believe in the man in the moon. We view these scriptures as stories and only that, stories; stories based on faithful reality. And unfortunately, doing so will only limit us.



Then we just continue to whine, complain, and suffer when we don't even have to do so. The Bible teaches us that Jesus died and suffered on the cross so we wouldn't have to. When he said, "it is finished," on the cross, he wasn't just saying it for nothing. How can we believe this Almighty God can create the entire Earth and us from dust, DUST, but yet he cannot cure us from illness and change our situations? Don't we know that if He created us, and created our minds to create our goverments, our technology, money, etc., that He can also create or order those same things to be in our favor. Let me tell you something, there is no reason for you to suffer, no reason to live life in worry, no reason to be afraid, even in the midst of all of this confusion. One thing that was also finished at Calvary was the reign of the devil. Put simply, the devil is already defeated. Why should we allow him to keep putting us through this and he is already defeated? Scripture not only teaches us that we need not to worry for just as God provides for the fowl of the air he shall also do more for us, but also that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.



Bottom line is that our happiness is our choice. Being blessed is our decision. We can either choose to accept God's promises, or the lies of our situations. We can choose to believe what He has told us, or what we came up with ourselves, what our body and mind are telling us (even though we are supposed to be of the spirit). Sickness, trouble, temptation, etc, may come on their own, but it is our choice whether or not to accept it. We choose to accept that pain, we choose to accept that weakness to the temptor, yet all that we should be choosing is the VICTORY! We don't want to hear that though. All I'm saying is this, it's time to stop looking everywhere else, and turn to the Jesus within us for all that we need and desire.



I challeng you today....

to look at what you're going through and find the point where you accepted it.

to challenge back whatever problems are challenging you with the word and faith of God

to be happy in the midst of whatever is going on around you because you have decided to be blessed.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that you touch each and every soul reading this, that they shall accept the victory that is already given to them and exercise it greater each day of their life from now on. You alone are worthy of all the praise, and to this effect all of the glory from your blessings are due to you. We love you with all of our hearts, minds and souls, and submit ourselves to your will for our lives in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
