Message:   I have seen this happen in another "similar" sport. Im not sure if you have ever heard of it or not, but it is called winterguard. (a combination of dance, colorguard, gymnastics, pageantry, etc during the winter months.)

My first comment would be, speak to the administators of the competitions they are attending. (I hope by organizers you meant the parents.) If your concerns are safety issues, write them down. Have the facts and perhaps investigate where accidents have happened elsewhere because the coaches were not formally or properly trained. If your concern is that the coaches are inadequate and perhaps teaching incorrect technique, etc.... then let them compete with you. If they indeed are doing the girls a disfavor then surely their score/placement will reflect that. Then you have all the ammunition you need to market your program, recruit students, and provide a positive and productive experience for them.
