Another New York baby boomer here, this one from Queens.

You are my idol! I worship you! If only I had grown up in England I would have placed myself on your doorstep until you gave me a job (even sweeping) just to be around the puppets and watch them come to life.

We didn't have "Supercar" as I recall so my introduction into "Supermarionation" was with "Fireball XL-5." I play the theme song to this day on my guitar. We also didn't get "Joe 90" but as I write this I am watching a DVD with several of the episodes. How wonderful that I can send you a message. I never dreamed I could do that.

I will say of all the "Supermarionation" series I like "Captain Scarlet" best. Though "Fireball Xl-5" will always have a special place in my heart for opening up a world into which I fell willingly.

I watched "UFO" and "Space 1999", both good live action sci-fi series.
