John Read signed watercolour painting
I have a watercolour which I believe was painted by John Read during the war. The picture was given to my aunt's friend by John Read as I think they were both stationed at the same air base. I know she was based at Leuchars, St Andrews, Scotland but also was stationed in Glasgow. The picture is signed and is of a house with a small pond in the front garden. It really is a beautiful watercolour and I would like to try to find out a bit more about it which is why I have left this message. |
