Hey girl, We're still here. :) I've been on the site at least once a day, I just haven't had much to say. Chance is doing great. He had a really hard time weaning off of 2 mg. of dexamethasone, so he's back on them until we see the doc. on Jan. 4th. We also go then for a MRI. He had a really bad reaction to being off the steroids and ended up in the ER for a few hours. He had a horrific headache, vomitting, and even a small seizure about 3:30 on Dec. 18th. He was very disoriented. I called the oncologist that moring when they opened, and she said to take him to the ER for a Catscan to rule out bleeding in the brain, otherwise, she was sure he was just having a bad reaction b/c he has been on them since Sep. The Catscan looked great, no tumor or no swelling even. So...he's back on 4mg of Decadron a day until we see her on the 4th, and then he will start weaning off VERY slowly. Other than that, minor incident, Chance and I are both great. I'm just enjoying my time off from school away from my darling little 4th graders. Thanks for asking Revi. :) P.S. Sally has been visiting family out of town. |

Fine here. I lurk unless I have news to share or a post to respond to. No MRIs or anything for a month. Feeling fine. |
