Living in a caravan permanently.
Having just posted a message regarding a washine machine in caravan, I thought I would also like to ask about living permanently in a caravan, which is my intention. Is anybody here living constantly in a caravan? If so, how do you find it generally? I am looking to buy a new 35' caravan with double glazing and central heating. Will this be warm enough in a reasonable winter? Also, does anybody invisage any condensatuion problems? Any replies very welcome. Many thanks. John |

Hi John - Static holiday caravans are built to British Standard European Norm 1647, not built with sufficient insulation to live in through the winter. You really need to read our article (PLease cut and paste) http://www.parkhome-living.co.uk/pages/residential-lodge-parks/residential-lodge-parks/misuse-of-holiday-homes.html Unless of course, you are intending to put the caravan on private land the article won't apply. Good luck! |
