Responese to the Chinese Spokeman's letter,Kathmandu

This is in response to the letter written by Shan, Spokesman of Chinese Embassy, Kathmandu published in The Himalayan Times on June 25th.Mr Shan don’t pretended that you know the whole history of Tibet up to date and don’t try to mix Tibet with China. Tibet was an independent country before the Chinese occupation of Tibet in 1959. We have our own language which is called Tibetan and not Chinese, we have our own rich culture, tradition, religion, currency etc. We have our own national flag and national anthem like other countries have. There is no way that Tibet can be a part of red China where there is no basic human rights for its own Chinese people and how it grants freedom to peace loving people of Tibet. Tibet was a free country and will be free one day that is for sure. I have a strong believe and faith to my country and people that truth will triumph and Tibet will be free no matter how long it will take. Mr. Shan let your leader Hu Jintao know that we the Tibetans outside Tibet all over the world are not coward for our struggle for freedom and not willing to quit at any cost. Not far away recently I hope you have seen the power and struggle of Tibetans and its supporters during the Olympic torch rally all over the world. It was for the first time in the history of Olympic that Olympic torch was carried under heavy and tight security all through its way with fear and tense. It was great shame to China and this Olympic torch rally was often described as a torch in cage like a bird in cage where there is no freedom. Some even described it as bloody torch rally awarded to China for its human rights violation record and highest human execution. And don’t even think that we will give up our struggle for independence after the 2008 Olympic and will remain silence. This is just the beginning of our struggle and we the Tibetan youths are even more determined and we have only one goal in our life that is complete independence. Tibetan youths are committed to this struggle for complete independent and willing to sacrifice our life for the nation no matter how long it will take. This is a struggle of a nation and its people and it might take generation to generation to free our country from communist rule and to make Tibet a zone of peace. This is 21st century and where there is no place for old age imperialism and dictatorship. The Chinese occupation and claim over Tibet is not a power but a full of shame and liar. This is the era of democracy where there are human rights, peaceful co-existence and truth will prevail. We Tibetan have the truth and freedom is just a mile away.
The recent crackdown in Lhasa was a prolong and accumulate frustration of Tibetans under brutal communist rule in Tibet over five decades. Mr Shan give me a break and how you got the guts to say that recent death of 209 Tibetan while 1000 were injured and 5972 arrested was groundless and death of one Chinese police and 240 injured people were counted as fact. In fact Chinese army has disguised as Tibetan monks and layman, they vandalized public property and made chaos in Lhasa. At this point you should know and remember how many Tibetans were killed, imprisoned and tortured since the invasion of Tibet by communist China. The world is watching you and don’t be a big liar. Tibetans are also human and should be treated as human and they should have their own basic human rights like right to Religious freedom, right to express etc in their own country. Mr Shan, one thing you should know is that fate is decided by its destiny and karma. The recent earthquake in China was the resulted of bad karma of China over Tibet. So it is better for Chinese to leave Tibet sooner before more bad things to happen. Finally but not the least claim of China over Tibet as a part of China is baseless, untrue and impossible. It is just an imagination and day dream of Chinese leaders. Tibet was a free country and will be free. FREE TIBET!!
