corruption in Norbulingka Institute Date: 2007/03/09 17:10 By: jeniffer Status: User Karma: 0 Fresh Boarder Posts: 2 The Institute disruption all started after an Amdo guy, who called himself Dolma Kyab Zorgey, an ex monk, appointed on the seat of Sales Manager. Earlier Norbulingka Institute was a unique place for preservation of Tibetan culture. Earlier there used to be have a couple called Gyaltsen la and Yonten la, they both are really talented on those fields which they came to serve in Tibetan community after they finished their Fulbright. And also there Human resources department head is Damdul la. How Zorgey Dolma Kyab does have his seat? By the time when he initially came to the Institute, a monk who hang one old camera on his neck, by the time, he is hanging with tourist at Mcleod Ganj (Tibetan slang we called Sali Gyal). So, Norbulingka was his main destination to make some money from tourist. Out of that he got a chance to meet the Institute Managing Director which is his present darling or boss whatever. Out of that way, he got an admission in Institute as a photographer. By that time the Institute was really running smoothly and as himself a photographer he regularly gets a chance to meet Managing director. Now who is kim Yeshi and how is her character? Unfortunately, the Institute director Kalsang Yeshi got such a wife like that. Maybe he aimed to her financial. She belongs to good background family and originally from France but she is American citizen. Let’s talk about her character; she is so short temper, bossy and cunning. So, she doesn’t like such a staff who can give clarification. By that time Gyaltsen la was on the post of sales manager, she is such a straight and open minded. So, the managing director didn’t like her too much. By that way, Mr. Zorgey took an advantage and interrupted between them. That’s how he got the position. For this Institute, there is no place for honest people. After an uneducated guy Dolma Kyap interrupted between Gyaltsen la and Kim Yeshi. It made them to take a permanent leave from this Institute. Then he target on the seat of Damdul la (human resources department head) because at that time he is the cup of tea of Director Kugno Kalsang Yeshi. So greedy Amdo guy DK want to snatch the post from him. Then he properly planned and attracted Kim Yeshi through very cunningly. The people were saying about Damdul la corrupted about Norbulingka money (but no one can prove). Out of that way, finally he got rid Damdul la from his way successfully. Later the director invited Kugno Tsering Dorjee la. He gave a post secretary but you know what his position? Hahaha !! It’s below that uneducated guy!!! Actually as he is such a rich in every corner of knowledge, he should be above that uneducated guy. Moreover some rumors revealed up in the community that he is just NOTICE secretary ( Saldak genzin). ****!!! How poor is that. Later on he took a permanent leave from the Institute because of him noticed ‘how uneven this Institute is’. Later on the director appointed Dhondup ladar who used to be Research Department, again he left the Insititute by that reason. How sad is that happening in this Tibetan community. I really agree with what you have written evrything.and i really support you.and i really appreciate you for let the people knows about the corruptions in norbulingkha..not only in norbulingkha these days most of the tibetan government office suffuring from the same..so keep it up...we are allways with you.
