Message:   Hello and congratulations on a brilliant web site. I am researching the history of my house, 8 Quay Walls and was facinated by how close it was to shipbuilding. Former residents must have a fabulous view of the industry in times gone by. Can anyone tell me where I can obtain prints or picures or maps that you have on your site?
Also, I learned that the Harbour Master used to lived in my house in 1881, does anyone know how I can find out anything about him and his work? His name was Smith.
Also, does anyone know of any link between shipbuilding and my house during any time during its history (built about 1750)?
