Message:   I remember being outside the shipyard (early fifties) with my much younger brother. The hooter blue,the gates opened and my brother was faced with all these guys in big boots racing at him. "Whats happening" quite scarry for a five year old.
I later worked as draughtsman for tynedraft, on the tynedraught designs.
