Message:   Hi Billy I have just found your excellent site and must congratulate you on a job well done.

I started in the yard in 1958 serving my time as a loftsman and finally leaving the yard in 1971.

It was great to see the old photos of workmates and vessels bringing back many fond and nostalgic memories of my time in the yard.

I am always saddened when returning to Berwick looking over the walls and seeing a carpark where the yard once stood.

May I once again congratulate you and hope the site keeps prospering.
