You are to be congratulated, an excellent site which I am sure is just a small part of all the research that you have carried out.

I small "error" is the naming of the tug MAAMAL in your list which appears to be MAMAAL in the photo on the tug section. Or did the yard painter get it wrong?

You are so right about how the industry is now forgotten. On a recent trip to Berwick I saw a local historian sitting in the small museum. I asked him if he knew where the Fairmile yard was and he didn't have a clue. He didn't really appreciate that shipbuilding was a part of Berwick's history!
