Lake Guntersville - Pre-fish dates

Teams Clayton and I are planning a pre-fish date before the TOC. If you'd like to join us let us know what a good date would be and we'll also be posting a narrowed down date list. We are hoping to get several teams to go and cut down on hotel cost and other fees if possible. It might be possible to rent a large cabin and this would really cut down cost for a week. We've got time to work out the details so imput will be welcome.

Re: Lake Guntersville - Pre-fish dates

I'm thinking Feb 27 or 28 or even later but, if I'm gonna make a serious bid for one of those boats, I'd like to get some time in on that water near those dates.

Re: Lake Guntersville - Pre-fish dates

OFFICIAL PRE-FISH PERIOD FOR TOCs: Official pre-fish for all lakes hosting TOCs begins 2 days prior to the event. Official Pre-Fish means that no one other than your team member or a member of your immediate family is allowed on the boat with any angler wishing to participate in the event. This eliminates the use of guides for the days immediately prior to the event. Life Jackets and kill switches must also be worn at all times, while the gas motor is running, during this official pre-fish period. Failure to follow these rules during the pre-fish period will result in disqualification from the event.

Re: Lake Guntersville - Pre-fish dates

I think we would be better off being there as close to the tournament date as possible. I think I agree with Clayton, the last weekend of Feb would be better.
