Just back from voting and I was able to vote for Peter Collier....I just hope he does the things he has indicated to Plato. While there I overheard the product of our education system enthusing, "Let's draw a penis on it!" I must say it was too complicated for the average citizen to work out what was going on, but still, I wonder how many wasted votes there will be today! |

Voter - As an experienced scrutineer - I can assure you many people's votes are not valid. My vocabulary has been extended by some of the rude comments/drawings written on the voting slips. Many Australians don't know how fortunate they are - living in this democracy. Perhaps voting should be voluntary and the people who are genuinely interested will vote properly. |
