Circles too good?
Can a horse lope circles too good? Sorta along the lines of them anticipating. When I get my horse on a circle he pretty much stays there with out much guiding. It doesnt take much more than just an outside rein leaning on him to circle. I feel as though I letting it too much up to him to maintain his circle. Is there too much room for mistake? I wanted him light and sensitive but I wonder if this can come back and bite you later? |

Re: Circles too good?
As long as you are in control and when you steer the horse is not over reacting it sounds good to me. As long as you can steer and are in control. There is a fine line between the trick of the circle and the horse also steering. Hope this helps. Dean Brown |
