Rollbacks
My three year old raises his head after about 110-130 degress into a rollback. I assume this is a stiff spot. I drive him in the bridle to get his face softer and sometimes I don't let him lope off and make him drive into the bridle and try to get this stiff spot better but, I've been doing this for a while and don't see enough improvement. |

Re: Rollbacks
Stop leaving the roolback for awhile and just ask the horse to roolback then spin. Sounds like he is just anticipating leaving the rollback. He is not commited to going so he is trying to leave giving you the stiff spot. For every 10 you do you should maybe come out once. Dean Brown |
