Rear skid boots
I noticed at NRHA shows some trainers don't have skid boots on their horses at shows,is there a reason behind this? |

Re: Rear skid boots
Good question. If a horse does not burn then the boots are not needed. Some horses even huge stoppers will not burn themselves. And others will even burn their hocks. The thing is with all this equipment the more you use it the more rubbing that accurs causing sores etc. So the less equipment you have to use in my opinion is better for the horses legs etc. Dean Brown |
