hanging on the bit
Hi dean. right now i am riding this 2 year old he is doing pretty good but lately when i have been asking for him to give to pressure he is dropping his head but he is really hanging on the bit I try bumping with my legs but he still hangs on the bit. I also am changeing the direction of pressure when im pulling (meaning i will still have contact on his mouth but i will pick up the out side rein and try and get his chin a bit) but even there he is still hang on the bit. what can i do to stop him form doing that. He is still in a snaffle bit. |

Re: hanging on the bit
What type of bit are you ridding him in. Any equipment etc like Martingales etc? Dean Brown |
