Flying lead changes
I been counter cantering my two year old and laying my opposite leg on him to change the new lead like you do on your video.I've just tried one side so far (left circle on right lead) and I after maybe 10 minutes of putting my spur off and on and trying to move his hip over to catch the new lead,he catches in the front but, not in the back? I've been just bringing him back to a stop.Rest and start all over again. |

Re: Flying lead changes
If you have been doing this a for a period of time. You might be better off bringing your horse down to a working trot and then picking up the correct lead then bringing your horse down and letting him rest. Dean Brown |
