I realize that being a board member involves difficult decision making. This decision would not have had to been made if our members paid their entry fees and planned on attending the convention.
I have in the past encouraged all hunters to enter early so the committee members could make appropriate plans. Those of you who run hunts know what I am saying. It is very difficult to project the number of entrants when they wait for the last minute. In the future, perhaps we will become more aware of the behind the scenes work that organizing a treasure hunt involves. |
